Description:
Merseyside Coatings Ltd seek a qualified fitter to work at our busy Head Facility in Widnes, Cheshire.
Responsibilities include, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the facility's machinery and vehicles.
prospective candidates must have basic reading/writing/mathematical skills, as well as advanced skills in one or more of the following areas;
-Electrical systems
-Mechanical systems
-Hydraulic systems
-Pneumatic systems
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment, and the position involves heavy lifting and accessing awkward areas. Working at height may be required however on-site training will be given.
Hours of Work:
Normal Hours of work are 8am until 4.30pm however opportunities for longer hours and weekend work are readily available.

Site Supervisor (Ref: IDM: 10235)

Description:
The company are currently seeking site supervisors to be involved in running contracts at various sites around the UK. The role will include:
- Supervising labour
- Liaising with client representatives
- Logging hours
- Maintaining contract schedule
- Following health and safety and site regulations
- Responsibility of plant and equipment
Successful candidates will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial painting industry or with knowledge of cementitious applications, dry boarding or fire-stopping. Ideal candidates will have a CITB Supervisor Training Qualification. The successful candidate will show excellent communication and organisational skills.
