Shot Blasting is the process whereby, a hard abrasive material is forced through a jet nozzle using
compressed air pressure. This creates a fast and effective way of cleaning or preparing a surface for
re-coating using all different types of materials.
At Merseyside Coatings Ltd we can offer the following as part of our surface preparation operations;
- Manual and machine produced wet and dry shot blasting
- Mechanical and hand cleaning operations
- High pressure water jetting
Our largest manual blast bay measures 6m high and 6m wide and it can accommodate any length steel
structure which may be required.
We are able to offer all of these above mentioned processes within both of our state of the art facilities in
Widnes, as well as on site where necessary.
Our experienced site division can not only provide remedial repairs to work damaged in transit or during
erection onsite, but it can offer full blasting and corrosion protection on site.
